Mistaken Identity

Before we left for Utah, I applied for a Texas drivers license. It hadn't come before we left, and they took my valid Utah license from me when I applied which made traveling without a photo ID lot's of fun. (On the way back, my Costco card, along with my social security card saved me all this hassle - in case you ever get in that situation). When we got back and I saw this, I realized that this would have made traveling even more interesting. I hope Texas hasn't changed me that much!!

Speaking of looks. When we got to Utah, Jons sister loved Jethro which Jon took to mean it could stay, so Jethro is still here, and looks like it will stay.

Jethro

I think we may have a redneck in our midst! Jon has been growing this beard . . . thing on his face that I have started calling Jethro. We are heading to Utah on Saturday for Jon's sister Emily's wedding by which time Jethro will no longer exist. This is to preserve it's memory. We are looking forward to seeing most of our family and a few of our friends over the coming week.
So long Jethro!

Personalities

The other day the kids were upstairs being very quiet. It was one of those times when you think you should probably go up and see what they are up to, but the quiet is so nice, that you don't want it to end. I waited and Collin came down dressed in this Jon Bybee Jr. outfit. He had raided his closet of a bunch of too-small clothes to come up with this. That's a bionicle t-shirt, with a suit coat over it AND a chain from front to back pocket. He's got the pose down pat too.

This picture says a lot about Grace. She has her favorite new outfit on and the ever present purse (although these change, their presence doesn't) filled with her very tiny treasures, which also change. She's got oodles of purses jam packed with little treasures. She is also telling me just how it is, can't you tell?
